    National Appellate Advocacy Competition (NAAC) in San Francisco, February 16-18, 2017

    The ABA Law Student Division invites you to judge the National Appellate Advocacy Competition (NAAC) in San FranciscoFebruary 16-18, 2017 at the USDC for the Northern District of California Phillip Burton Federal Building.

    Help law students gain practical skills they need to succeed by contributing to this prestigious moot court competition. All rounds will take place in a real courtroom. Robes will be provided for all competition judges to complete the experience. These students are some of the best in the country and will be impressive to watch.

    Please register for one or more rounds. The ABA Law Student Division will send an email confirming your registration and provide a bench memorandum, the problem (record), and instructions on judging. Reviewing these materials is the only preparation requested of competition judges.

    The rounds are scheduled as follows:
    Round 1: Thursday, February 16 (4:00pm-8:15pm)
    Round 2: Friday, February 17 (4:00pm-8:15pm
    Round 3: Saturday, February 18 (8:30am-12:45pm)
    Round 4: Saturday, February 18 (1:00pm-3:30pm)
    Round 5: Saturday, February 18 (3:30pm-6:00pm)

    The ABA Law Student Division National Appellate Advocacy Competition will apply for CLE credit in Illinois and New York for all regional locations. More information will be available on the NAAC webpage as it becomes available.
